The Mont Ventoux in Vaucluse and Drome departments will be your companion all along your trip. Les Dentelles de MontmirailThis huge mountain hides splendid places. Provencal villages as well as beautiful nature. This light cycling tour will have you see the Mont Ventoux from three sides. Avignon the cultural center of Provence, street-theatre, music, a place of and for artists. Vaison-la-Romaine (60,000 Romans lived there 2000 years ago as you will see by yourself). Vaison has a medieval old city and famous market on Tuesday morning. You be cycling through Côtes-du-Rhône illages-wineyards all along your trip West of the Mont Ventoux. You'll visit Abbaye de Senanque. On last day you will see the famous surging river Fontaine de Vaucluse where Petrarca  wrote his poems.
We can combine this cycling trip with a wineries program.

  • Take the shuttle bus to SNCF railway station of Vitrolles Aeroport Marseille.
    Bus leaves every 20 minutes and it takes 5 minutes to arrive.
  • Here take a train ticket to Avignon or Cavaillon.
    On all days of the week you'll have 4 opportunities between 12:00 and 20:00 to go to Avignon
    (in 1hr 25 min) or to Cavaillon (in 55 min).
